Trial lawyers, when they are in front of a judge or jury, are story tellers. We can make an impact, with our cases and stories, on that specific audience as well as greater society. The entertainment industry (film/TV) has the ability to reach an even-wider audience. For me, there are stories that I would like to take from the courthouse into the writer’s room. These include Civil Rights battles I’ve fought in the deep South in Louisiana, as well as in the State of California. Presently, in development is a TV Pilot, in collaboration with a former undercover and gang cop from San Francisco, about a whistle-blower and an “unsolved” homicide.
